Due to the age of the existing building and internal structure consisting of brick archways and a cast iron frame there is a substantial amount of builders work and subsequent upgrades required to remedy the existing structure to a standard that will allow the internal fitout phase to progress

23 New Build Social Housing Scheme, Liverpool
HCM Associates are acting Principle Contractor on this project, for Edison Developments in the construction of 23nr new build social housing. The scheme, although very straight-forward once we enter superstructure phase which includes timberframe structures with masonry façade, the substructure is a different proposition with a piled foundation solution due to poor ground conditions and the introduction of a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDs) consisting of a 100 linear metres run of 1200mm dia concrete pipe to act as a surface water attenuation system.

Silkhouse Court, 192 Apartment Conversion, Liverpool
HCM Associates have been appointed to act as Project Manager on this scheme on behalf of Fortis Developments. The current Main Contractor on the project is Beaumont Morgan and they have been appointed in difficult circumstances; adopting the project from another failing Main Contractor. It is at this juncture HCM have been introduced to assist in the programming and monitoring of the project through to its proposed completion in March 2019. In addition HCM have been engaged to negotiate the costs of the scheme to a satisfactory conclusion due to the delicately poised nature of the contract.
